A Few years ago, Vineeth is known as son of Sreenivasan, but his unique sound make him well known paly back singer. 2 year back, Vineeth became a director and script writer through Malarvadi Arts Club, which was a megahit in box office.
Now his second movie ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ has released and getting good reports from all over. Thattathin Marayathu is a fentastic work from Vineeth, even the story is old repetative nature. But Vineeth Sreenivasan has chosen the conventional way of story telling.
The film starts from a police station, the hero Vinod Nair(Nivil Pauly) was arrested for making problems in his lover Ayesha’s(Isha Thalvar) House. Vinod telling the love story to S.I(Manoj K Jayan). The movie is a romance between two youngsters belonging to two different faiths. Vinod, [essayed by a trim Nivin Pauly] is your average small-town guy who falls in love with this ethereal looking Aisha, played by Isha Talwar. The story line is not unique or different but Vineeth has tried to narrate an ageless theme in a modern world with its own set of complexities and issues.
Nivin done his role very well, he could Imbibe the charector of small town college boy. Isha Talwar looks like angelic and very cute, she also perform well. Aju Varghese, Bhagath Manuel, Ahmed Siddique, Sunny Wayne, Manikuttan, Sreenivasan have performed creditably in their respective roles. Manoj K Jayan’s performence is notable.
Jomon T John’s Cinematography and Shaan Rahman’s BG music are exceptionally good. Ranjan Abraham could edit the movie brilliantly.
